New favorite! Was really craving sushi and also something substantial to fuel my energy to tackle finals this week, so my boyfriend took me out for dinner at Blue Fish.
I ended up ordering Korean BBQ Ribs and hands-down, best K-BBQ I've had in a long time! The crispy rice was also delicious. The servers were also very friendly. We'll definitely be back!
Been coming to Blue Fish for years now. I have always ordered to go and have always received great service. I've tried a few other popular sushi places locally and Blue Fish is still by far my favorite.
I've been here enough times to say that this place deserves 5 stars. These people never fail to impress us with their clean, quality food and their exceptional service. What more could you ask for in a nice town like Montrose, with plenty of free parking in the back and close to no time waiting for a table?
Some favorite rolls that I almost always order:
*The Wild Salmon
*The Anoush Roll (for my Armenian friends, it's actually really yummy with its unique sauce)
*The Lobster Dynamite with the Popcorn Shrimp
My friend and I got their udon soup however, and it was delicious but I wish they had a vegetarian option to match my favorite one that I'd always order in San Diego! The one I got from here wasn't bland, but I like as many toppings and veggies as possible in my soup!
I also must mention, I once went here with a friend who ordered some sauces on the side, and I applaud the waitress for patiently bringing the rolls so neatly with the sauces nicely placed inside the containers. I appreciate service like that where they don't immediately blow you off for making a request. This is why my friends and I always make this our go-to sushi place for last minute dinner plans. Thank you Blue Fish!!
We have been coming to Blue Fish " forever ". It never disappointed. Always fresh fish and attentive service . But , I admit our attendance had dropped off a bit as we explored some of the newer places in Pasadena and Glendale. But partly for old times and to celebrate my wife's birthday we went there tonight and truly had one of the best Sushi dinners ever . We had to order the classic " Johnny Roll" , which is s guilty pleasure , and it was better than we remembered . The salmon sashimi was incredibly fresh and accompanied with pickled onions. Our chef , "KD" was incredibly friendly and offered us a treat on him and then created this amazing dessert ( I did offer him some of my cold sake early on. A nice tradition)
Been here so many times. My son favorite sushi restaurant.
The place smell good not like other sushi places where you smell like fish after 15 min. The food is always fresh and the chefs are great.
I always sit on the bar and always get great service. They know us when we walk in and always take great care of us. The staff is very friendly and have great recommendations
The price is good too $7 for the rolls and $15 for tempura.
Plenty of free parking in the back and very convenient location.
Defenitly recommended it to everyone
